Jakarta Provincial Government is committed to providing children with a safe and comfortable place to do activities. There are currently 322 child-friendly playgrounds (RPTRA) spread across five urban areas, including in Thousand Islands.
Jakarta Child Protection and Empowerment and Population Control (PPAPP) Agency Head Tuty Kusumawati detailed, as many as 253 RPTRAs were built through the city budget (APBD) and 69 other RPTRAs were through corporate social responsibility (CSR).

"Thus far 19 RPTRAs can be used as complaint posts," he expressed.
He added, it would be developed as a venue for the Family Information and Consultation Center (PIK Keluarga). PIK Keluarga is a flagship activity of Pokja I TP PKK.
"By doing so, the public can exchange information and consult on family welfare issues," he stated.
